Brookwood Basketball Tip Off Club
Tip Off Club Membership Form
The Brookwood Tip Off Club is a volunteer parent-based organization whose purpose is to provide support and resources to the Brookwood High School Basketball Program. All parents are encouraged to join the Club to show support for our Broncos and to allow the Club to better serve our young athletes and cheerleaders. The Tip Off Club is the fundraising arm for the basketball teams and basketball cheerleaders at Brookwood. There are four officers, many committee leadership positions and ample opportunity to volunteer. Your membership and commitment is vital to the success of our program. The school only provides funds for game uniforms, referees, utilities, gym maintenance, custodial fees, gym manager to open and close, gate collector and buses to away games.
Who can join the Brookwood Tip Off Club?
The Brookwood Tip Off Club is open to anyone wishing to be involved in supporting the basketball program at Brookwood High School . All parents are encouraged to join. A Junior Membership is also available for our elementary and middle school Broncos. Benefits include a special Junior Bronco T-shirt, special seating behind the team bench, and exclusive visits to the locker rooms before the games and participation in the team tunnel as the players are introduced, and recognition at games and on the Bronco web site.
How does the Tip Off Club raise money?
The Membership dues are the key component of the Basketball Program’s budget as all gate proceeds go directly to the Athletic Department general fund. In addition, the Tip Off Club raises money through several fundraisers during the basketball season.  These fundraisers include concession sales at each home game, the annual Arts & Crafts Festival, the annual Poinsettia Sale and Patron Sponsorships. The cost to join the Tip Off Club is only $250 and includes an embroidered bleacher seat or tote bag and two membership shirts exclusively for members only, recognition in the game day guide and on the web site.
How is the Money Spent?
The Brookwood Tip Off Club is the primary source of support for the basketball program. The basketball program relies on the Tip Off Club to provide funding to support the cheerleading teams, for court, gym and locker room improvements, recognition plaques and certificates, locker room renovation, locker room equipment, senior night recognition, pom poms, bags, banquet and team celebrations, practice equipment (the rebounder), knee pads, practice uniforms, statistics software, water bottles, locker signs, game towels, basketballs, coaches supplements, practice jerseys and shorts, uniforms, professional announcers, scorekeepers and video production.
